The very day of the election reflects the feelings of joy and jovial happiness among the voters to cast their votes in support of their candidates.

At 7 a.m., with the start of the poll, long lines are seen in front of the polling booths.

The police employees keep a strict eye on the disturbing elements trying to disrupt the polls.

Last year, an election was held in our village/town. The election went on quite peacefully.

But some supporters of different parties were found shouting and manipulating voters. Barring a few incidents of stone-pelting, the election came to an end.

Then the counting of votes began, with the supporters of the contesting candidates getting crowded near the booths.

When the counting was over, the candidate of the ruling party was declared the winner.

The winning candidate, with his supporters, made a huge rally bursting crackers.

The supporters of the lost contestant candidate created violence, such as stone-pelting, terrorising election employees and bombing.

With the evening approaching, everything became normal.

The police patrolled the village/town throughout the night to ensure peace and happiness for the residents.
